Start of the Business Factory Auto (BFA) in which Merasys, spin-off of Itera Técnica, participates.

On January 9, the first edition of the initiative Business Factory Auto (BFA) in which one of the nine participating companies is Merasys (www.merasys.es), spin-off of Itera Técnica dedicated to the manufacture of adaptable monitoring equipment for all areas and sectors, with its project “Sis predictive system for defect detection using advanced sensorics, HPC and Big Data for industrial processes in the automotive industry”.

BFA is an initiative promoted by the
Xunta de Galicia
through the Axencia Galega de Innovación (GAIN), the Galician Institute for Economic Promotion (Igape) and the Sociedad Gestora de Entidades de Inversión de Tipo Cerrado (Xesgalicia); the Galician Automotive Cluster Foundation (
CEAGA
), the
PSA Group
the Consorcio de la Zona Franca de Vigo (
CZFV
) and Vigo Activo S.C.R.(Vigo Activo). Its objective is the acceleration and consolidation of specialized automotive projects and their transformation into innovative, viable and scalable companies that attract and retain talent, thus contributing to strengthen the positioning of the sector and increase its international projection.

At BFA, entrepreneurs will have a workspace, financial support, training, and a unique ecosystem made up of tutors, mentors, partners and other agents, all related to the automotive and business sector.

The first phase of this initiative consists of the acceleration of the projects, and will run until July 31.
